Bastir - Arquitectura e Design de Interiores | Bairro Alto Hotel, LisboN

Tapestry commissioned by Bastir, an Architectural and Interior Design Studio, for Bairro Alto Hotel, in Lisbon, in the context of the renovation and expansion project for the hotel, in 2019. This piece is 8 meters high by 2 meters wide, covering 3 floors in the hall accessing the hotel suites. We have used macrame for the warp and design contours and tapestry for the weft.

Wall tapestry, 2,80 meters wide by 1,50 meters high, for a private home in Lisbon.


Par - Plataforma de Arquitectura | Casa Modesta, Olhão

We have partnered with PAr, an Architectural Office, to create outdoor furniture for Casa Modesta, a rural tourism with a contemporary feel, in Olhão, the Algarve. The furniture structures were designed by PAr and Oficina 166 came up with the textile design, all done in nautical rope. We have created four sunshades, six sun-beds and five stools/tables.


Viterbo Interior design | Hotel Albatroz, Cascais

Project carried out for atelier Viterbo by Gracinha Viterbo, an Interior Design Office, for Hotel Albatroz’s staircase facing wall, under their renovation project in 2019. Made in macrame, this piece is 3,20 meters high by 1 meter wide and has been enriched with tapestry.

ANDRINGA STUDIO | WYGROUP HEADQUARTERS - Digital marketing, technology and creativity holding company

Macramé and tapestry panel, commissioned by the Interior Design studio ANDRIGA STUDIO, for the offices of WYGROUP, the largest Holding company of digital marketing, technology and creativity in Portugal, based in front of the beach, in Santo Amaro de Oeiras. For this panel, several materials were used, such as a surfboard, all covered with jute yarn, crochet cushions made by the initiative “A Avó veio trabalhar”, cotton cord and wool.


PURACAL by Tiago Patrício Rodrigues | Tsukiji Restaurant, LISBON

Project carried out for PURACAL, an Interior Design Studio by Tiago Patrício Rodrigues, for Chef Paulo Morais new restaurant. We have created two large macrame pieces in linen cord, where we have inserted fish scales and small ceramic medals. The larger piece, with 4 meters wide by 2,50 meters high, is a dividing wall curtain. We have partnered with PURACAL (structure design) to create four lampshades with the same materials.


PURACAL by Tiago Patrício Rodrigues | PRIVATE HOME, Cascais

For this interior design project for a private home in Cascais, PURACAL used two pieces from “Thread reflexions” and “Trilho” exhibitions, a weaving embroidered on cotton paper and a wall hanging made of jute and fabric.


lacasta interior Design | vilamonte farmhouse, algarve, portugal

Tapestries commissioned by the atelier Lacasta Interior Design, for the renovated Vila Indigo, pieces made in macramé and later enriched with the tapestry technique for the living room and bedrooms. The materials used were cotton cord, fabric, jute yarn, raffia, wool, among others.


Vera Onofre Design | Clássico Beach bar by olivier RESTAURANT, LisboN

We have created three medusa shaped macrame lamps, a tree trunk lamp and a macrame dividing panel for the restroom entrance area for Clássico Beach Club restaurant in Costa da Caparica, Portugal, a project by Vera Onofre Design.


Andringa & Lacasta | Short Rental APARTMENTS, Lagos

This project was commissioned by Andringa & Lacasta, an Interior Design Office. We have made 21 wall hangings for the 21 Short Rental apartments in Lagos, the Algarve (Portugal). We have used macrame and tapestry techniques.


Skike Design | PRIVATE HOME, Lisboa

Two pieces from “Thread reflexions”, two embroideries on framed cotton paper, were used on this private house interior design project by Skike Design.


HOM3 | Local HOUSING APARTMENTS, OPorto

Macrame and weaving pieces commissioned by HOM3, an interior design studio, for two local housing apartments in Oporto, Portugal.
